One more month...

Only one month left in the Summer Reading Challenge and I'm so behind. I just finished the 6th book of my main list of 10. The remaining 4 are all thick books so I'm pretty doubtful that I'll manage to get all of them read. Plus I'm still reading, and have a long way to go in my extra challenge, The Tale of Genji, which has been a bit neglected lately and I really want to get back to it. I need more time!

  1. Don't worry. I'm behind too! I've finished 15 of 28. I really haven't had much time to read for the last week or two. When I do find time to read it's often not stuff that is for the SRC but rather stuff that needs to go back to the library soon. lol

  3. I am not sure I will get through the last of my books by the end of the month either, but I will finish them eventually. I have been reading a library book, too, that needs to be returned soon.

  4. Thanks guys. Nice to know I'm not the only one behind. And you're right- I will finish them eventually. I have enjoyed what I've read as my list is of books I've been meaning to read for quite some time so it feels good to finally read them.
    But I'm pretty sure I'm going to be reading another non-challenge book soon as I just can't wait! :P

  5. I never even got around to coming up with a challenge for myself, but I'm glad. July was a bad month for me, too. I think I'll just stick with my annual challenge and try not to kick myself during a bad month. You're right, you'll finish the books, eventually. No need to fret, right?
