Oooh, I am so ready to go on my trip! 8 months and counting. Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Am I remembering right, was it your birthday yesterday? If so, happy, happy birthday! Gotta love November birthdays. They are the best in my humble opinion! ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of a beautiful city. You know those 2 trees that flank the front entrance to the Empress Hotel? Do you know what type they are. I think the first time I ever saw those funny trees was there. I thought they were a weird choice for that elegant hotel. My husband and I had high tea there. It was a delightful experience.
ReplyDeleteLes, I've forgotten, are you going to visit Victoria?
ReplyDeleteCarl, thanks. It was actually my birthday on the 31st. I'm a Halloween baby. But November IS a great month for a birthday. ;)
booklogged, sorry, I have no idea what those trees are called. They are pretty funny aren't they? I haven't had Afternoon tea at the Empress for years but remember it being quite lovely.
Nat, yes, we're going to go to Victoria next summer when we cruise the San Juan Islands on my dad's boat. Can't wait! I've been a few times, but it's a fun place to visit.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful time Les!
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous. I'd love to go there, some day.
