Reminds me of something out of a Dickens novel for some reason.

ReplyDeleteActually Hokkaido was only settled by the Japanese a little over a hundred years ago so they don't have a lot of old traditional buildings that you see in the rest of Japan, and some of the architecture on those older buildings is definitely Western in style.
Beautiful architecture! I wish I had a coffeshop like this in my neighborhood - they would have to kick me out everyday! It looks so cozy...and ideal.
