  1. I had no idea there was such a thing as white wisteria. Lovely, lovely blossoms!

  2. It's lovely! I don't think I've ever seen white wisteria.

  3. Thanks. I didn't know either. It was just starting to blossom (this was a couple of weeks ago) so that's the only pic I got of it. Must be nice in full bloom.

  4. The white is beautiful, no doubt about it, and your photograph is fabulous. But it's always been the purple wisteria that makes my heart sing.

  5. Laura,
I actually have to agree with you. There's just something about the purple that I find so pretty.

  6. I love wisteria as my family name has it (藤). The white one is lovely but got to love the purple more!

  7. I didn't change my name but my husband's has the same kanji. :)
And you're right, the purple is prettier.

  8. I've never seen white wisteria. I can tell that you've been living in Japan for some time as the composition reminds me of an ikebana flower arrangment - truly peaceful, unexpected and beautiful.

  9. Christine,
Thanks for stopping by, and so quickly! And thanks for the compliment (blush). I think it's finding the beauty away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life here that keeps us going.
