amusing fashion

Spotted in Shinjuku Gyoen:
Pain Scratch Alternative Jesus ???
I'm curious what the rest of the patches said but I didn't feel like sitting there waiting for him to get up. Engrish always makes me smile. Hope you had a great weekend!

hello! maybe it means, "If you are suffering in PAIN, dont SCRATCH your head! Look for another ALTERNATIVE where you can easily find the way out in JESUS!" :)

Hv a Great Week!

I am not sure if the wearer knows what the patches mean!

Makes me think of magnetic poetry! I wonder what this means to this person. Is Jesus the antidote to pain or is scratching the antidote to Jesus? Hmmm..... Great find!

That's a unique weekend snapshot. I am so nosy that I'd have to wait until he got up to see the rest. Pretty hard to imagine what it could be. Happy week.

Jean Chia- LOL! Nice idea! :P

Emmyrose- Thanks! You too!

Ju- Have a great week yourself!

snippets- it made me laugh so that's always a good thing.

Grace- oh probably not. English in Japanese fashion is often so funny!

Sandy- I'd guess that the wearer probably hasn't given it much thought. Thanks for reminding me of magnetic poetry. I used to have some, I wonder where it went.

Carver- lol! It was time to go unfortunately. You're right, I can't even begin to imagine what the other ones said.

Interesting patches and I think the jeans is cool!
Thanks for dropping by.

That is quite intriguing. I wonder what it was supposed to mean.

I laughed harder once you told me that was a guy! Hilarious.

I wonder what that was all about!

What a great snapshot. More please. Who knew that random words could be so poetic?

tanabata on Wed Oct 17, 08:47:00 PM said...

Janet- Engrish is so fun! :)

Shabem- thanks for the visit!

Nymeth- probably nothing. Just random words is my guess..

Kookie- I laugh every time I read your comment! Did you ever see the episode of Friends with Joey's 'man bag'. Tote bags are really popular for men here these days.

Isabelle- :)

Alison- your guess is as good as mine!

Christine- LOL! randomness at its best!

LOL, what a combination of words! Great find, Nat!

Lotus- it's certainly the combination of these particular words that add to the humour. :)
