plum blossoms

No new pictures this weekend so here are a couple more of the ume (Japanese plum) blossoms that we took last weekend.

  2. Such beautiful blosoms! Here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where I am we are so lucky that somone a long time ago brought us 'Japanese Crab Trees' they are planted everywhere, hard to be depressed driving along the roads or walking :)

    Madeleine- You're right, it is hard to be depressed when there are blossoms everywhere! :)

    SandyCarlson- They are similar, but if you look closely the petals basically have round edges whereas the cherry blossoms petals are split.

  14. vinkoy- Hi. Thanks for stopping by. The cherry trees haven't blossomed yet this year, soon though. They should be out in the next couple of weeks.
