Pink shade which I don't see much often in Japanese lanterns.

Cool. I been thinking of getting some similar lanterns to use in a couple of photo's I want to take.

Nice and colorful for the theme.

Pretty! I'm a worrier like Marcia, though. We once bought a paper lantern but I couldn't talk myself into using it because I was afraid it would catch fire!!!

these are pretty looking lanterns and more beautiful when they're litted. Like most, I too worry if they caught fire...

Thanks everyone for your comments!

Lynn- You're right, I don't see pink ones very often.

Marcia, Nancy and Pearl- Funny, I've never given any thought to how flammable they might be. I've used paper lanterns as light covers indoors many times over the years. You usually can't use the really high watt bulbs but otherwise I've never had any problems. :)

Bibliolatrist- Thank you! :)

2lives- I'm sure they would've been very pretty at night but we didn't really have time to stay later that day. Maybe next year..
