Where was that photo taken? Newfoundland?
That does look like quite a peaceful view. I bet that water's chilly. :)
Awwwwwwwww, I can so enjoy this. Peace, quiet and god's finest scene.Mine's up, it's a Cat's Eye View of fun.Happy Hunting.
John- No, actually it was taken at the opposite end of the country, in Victoria, BC. :)Kathy- Yes, the water is usually pretty chilly!Hootin' Anni- It really is peaceful. I love walking down by the water whenever I visit.
That's a gorgeous view and I love the way it shows the empty bench. I can imagine walking up and sitting down there.
Nice shot beautiful view...
That's a beautiful view. So peaceful. To answer your question from snap2 again, could you delete our first comment here. We got the location wrong as we were thinking about last week. The shot on the left is Santa Barbara, CA and on the right is Atlantic Beach, NC. Thanks for your visit.
Such rugged beauty. Great shot
lovely view. Wants me to sit on that bench for hours!
Oooh, I've been to Victoria and I loved it there. Your photo is so great, I love the sunny sky and clouds.
That is so lovely. I wish I'd visited the NC beaches before I moved away.
I often miss being around the water too, Nat. The places I spent most of my childhood were around water, whether the ocean or a big river. Now I live in a desert like region and am lucky when it rains. Lovely photo!
Gorgeous photo! I always miss the view here when I go away for too long. (I'm in BC too - Vancouver)
I don't blame you--how gorgeous! It's my dream to live near water someday. Or at least take a nice, long satisfying vacation to someplace like that!
Oh Nat! I need to sit, read and relax on this bench, wiggle my toes in the cold water. I just love this photo. Thank-you for sharing it with us,Hope your sunday is a peacful one
Thanks Carver and Sabine (aka Snap2Days)- Thanks for your comments and answering my question. :)mimi, jams, Bonggamom- Thanks for stopping by. Andi- Thanks. You never know, you may have another chance sometime. :) Wendy- One of the first things I do whenever I'm "home" is drive down to the water, smell the salty air and just soak up the view for a while. :)Monica- I wasn't even born in Victoria, but there's something about the coast, and living by the water, that gets into your soul! Danielle- I hope to live near water again at some point. There's something about being near water that I just find so peaceful. Madeleine- My Sunday is pretty much over and it wasn't as relaxing as I'd hoped but it's been cool which I'm so happy about. Hope yours will be peaceful. As for the photo, it was pretty windy when I was there last year, so it would be pretty chilly to sit there and read but it's a lovely spot. :P
I'd love to sit there awhile :-)
