I'm glad you're feeling better, but I'm sorry you weren't well enough to fully enjoy your visit to Canada. However, that is one amazing photo! The sky is so dramatic, reminding me a bit of a stormy sky that came through Port Sidney when we were there in 2007. Oh, how I'd love to go back right now. Sigh.

But to answer your question, yes! I've received quite a few books this past week, thanks to my wonderful mom. She's visiting this week and brought me (and my hubby) a rather large stack. I should blog about them later this week (I need something to blog about since I'm not doing so well with reviews!). I've also found some ARCs at work that I've managed to add to my stacks. Just when I thought I was making progress on my TBR piles... ;)

Hi, glad your getting over the illness & some great books, will definitely check out the Lafcadio Hearn book, as I've recently finished a Oxford VSI book on Modern Japan & have a E-book on my kindle called Japanese & Chinese ghost stories - 5 books by Lafcadio Hearn + the one I won previously from you.
